The Colbert Report has had a pretty eclectic range of musical guests, but I think this one easily sticks out among them. In promotion for their newest album Tassili, African blues act Tinariwen made an appearance on the show for an interview as well as performances of the tracks "Tenere Taqqim Tossam" and "Imidiwan Ma Tenam". The former even featured collaboration from TV on the Radio members Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone, who appeared on the group's new album. See it for yourself below.
