Oh, hallelujah: the newest track from songwriting legend, Leonard Cohen. Like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, Cohen is one of the rare musical giants of yore still writing and producing great music, even if more hip blogs and zines tend to ignore the impact of their recent works. Bad As Me (Waits) and Love and Theft (Dylan) were great, and Cohen's latest has the potential to be great as well. Old Ideas, the album that "Darkness" belongs to, will be released on Jan. 31.
