As part of the second installment in the remix series math rock trio Battles announced a few weeks ago for their 2011 album Gloss Drop, experimental hip hop innovators Shabazz Palaces have contributed a remix for the track "White Electric". With Palaces' vocalist Ishmael Butler even adding in his own verses, the group truly does make the track their own, but that's not to say that respect isn't paid to the original. Listen to the reworking below, and look for its physical release along with remixes The Alchemist and Kode9 on February 20.
