A few weeks back, I posted about a project that Yasiin Bey, the MC formerly known as Mos Def, announced entitled Top 40 Underdog, in which the rapper will use various Top 40 hits as backdrops for some verses of his own. "Niggas in Poorest", a take on Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Niggas in Paris" that entirely flips the lyrical concept of the original, was the first track we heard from the series. Now, we have some visuals to pair up with the song, which include shots of Bey in the studio, lyrics flashing across the screen, and some spliced in found footage. Watch the video below.
