I can't deny the consistency that Kendrick Lamar has been showing throughout the past few weeks. First with "Cartoon & Cereal," and now with "The Recipe," Kendrick has been foreshadowing what has the potential to be one of the most solid hip hop albums of the year. The LP, titled Good Kid in a Mad City, will feature the Twin Sister-sampling "The Recipe" as its first single, which features none other than Dr. Dre teaming up with Kendrick to rep the pair's home state of California.
