Hailing from San Diego, California, Monsters from Mars are a surf rock-inspired psychedelic garage punk band that bring a reckless, in-the-red energy to their songs. Originally intended to be released as a split single but now up for free download, "Punchbowl on a Plane" begins with the very appropriate countdown of "1, 2, Oh my God!" The track then explodes into a wonderfully cacophonous array of fuzzed-out guitars, flurries of drums, and punchy organ.
