Veronica Falls sort of stole my heart late in 2011 with the release of their debut, self-titled album. It was an interestingly dark take on twee pop that ended up being one of my absolute favorite albums of the year, so needless to say I'm excited to hear some new material from them along with the announcement of a new album.
"Teenage" is the first track to be released from the new album which is titled Waiting For Something To Happen. The song has a noticeably more upbeat and joyous feel than most of the material on their debut album, but it still retains all the charm that made me fall in live with Veronica Falls in the first place.
