So every blog and magazine ever seems to have "Midnight City" as their best track of the year. Who are we to argue? The song is amazingly catchy and has many great, memorable pop moments that will certainly stick within the indiesphere for years to come. It is essentially 2011's "My Girls." It is our JAM. It is a great freaking song.
Here is the band playing the track on the irrelevant Last Call With Carson Daly last night. Could you imagine M83 on TRL circa 1999? I know I can't.
