Fuzzy garage rock and hypnotic psychedelic rock combine to form something great on Novella's hilariously-titled "Don't Believe Ayn Rand" off their soon-to-be-released debut EP. While it's unclear what Novella's beef with libertarianism is, the band's ability to craft a great pop song is clear. "Don't Believe Ayn Rand" is hazy, driving, and most of all, catchy (and those sleepy female vocals are a nice touch too).
