WEEK IN REVIEW: 4/29 - 5/5

1. Only Kanye West could release a video for "Lost in the World" a full 18 months after My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy came out and it not be questioned. Conceived by fashion filmmaker Ruth Hogben the cut features plenty of women wearing nothing but fancy t-shirts. I will say though, this video is very lacking in sightings of Bonny Bear and in that regard it is a disappointment.

2. RIP MCA, FUCK CANCER.

3. Junior Seau the sure-fire first ballot hall of fame linebacker committed suicide in his San Diego county area home earlier this week. This should be treated as a call to arms for professional sports to look at better protecting the head. Nobody is sure whether or not Seau did this because of prolonged concussions, but Junior shot himself in the chest presumably so his brain could be studied. It has to bring to mind the "summer of pain", last year where 3 different NHL players all died due to circumstances surrounding long careers of getting punched in the face for a living. It's the kind of thing where you feel guilty for even being a sports fan and have to wonder what these athletes are going through for our amusement.

4. I'm just going to leave this here and point out much of a crime it is that it only has 135 views.

5. Death Grips have apparently cancelled the remainder of their tour in order to ensure completion of No Love on time. As someone who was scheduled to see them on this tour I'm definitely disappointed, but the worst part about it is how nonchalant and entitled they seem to be about breaking their fans collective hearts. Come on guys, is it too much to ask for an apology or an explanation longer than a sentence? I know you guys are futurists, but do you have to be so primitive?
